Russia Says Air Strikes Are Not Helping Iraq Negotiations

Two important facts to keep in mind. First, the Russians are only going to get more poor if the price of oil drops, so pardon our skepticism regarding their reluctance. They insist they should be allowed to obliterate Chechnyans, who are being funded by the mid-East after all, but don't want to eliminate one of the funding leaders.

Second, there shouldn't be any need for negotiations. Let the inspectors in or be removed from power. The Russians don't seem to understand ... well, they do understand that Bush and the US will be helped by a change in Iraq so they are worried about that.
