Iranian Dancer Banned, Under Country Arrest

Mohammed Khordadian left Iran 22 years ago and has taught traditional dance in California. Unfortunately for him some of his videotapes made it into Iran and when he tried to leave after his mother's funeral he was arrested.

His crime? Enticing and inciting the nation's youth to corruption. His sentence? They suspended the jail time after a few months, he can't teach dance ever again and he must stay in Iran for 10 years.

Strange land, where being forced to stay is the punishment.
