Un Investigates Project Manager's Death

Iain John Hook, 54, was a project manager for the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA). Given the nature of his job title, it is not going to be a complete surprise if he was killed aiding militants shooting at Israelis.

It doesn't help that there was gunfire from the UNRWA offices ... it doesn't help that he was holding a cell phone.

UNRWA spokesman Paul McCann said there was no shooting from the building ( in Jenin ) and no militants inside. Strangely enough, that would make it the only building in Jenin not being used for militant operations. Palestinians have been using using sites belonging to the UN and the church as refuges and the Israeli army would like to stop it. Unfortunately the UN is more inclined to believe anyone who sides with Palestinians over the Israeli Army, even in a place which is the home of suicide bombing.
