Arab Father Lashes Out Over Son's Suicide Bombing

Abed Abudeir, on hearing that his 16 year-old son, Issa, had blown himself up. "We are totally opposed to bloodshed and violence in this family," Abudeir said. "If I had even the slightest inkling that Issa was politically involved or intended to blow himself up, I would have taken him to Amman with me."

Abudeir does not like what he considers a brutal Israeli occupation but he disagrees with the political leaders in the PA and other terrorist groups that are using the blood of children to send their message. In the article, Abudeir is clearly afraid to speak out against the PA or Hamas or any of the rest -- he knows full well that no dissent is allowed and plenty of Palestinians have been killed for speaking out against terrorism ... but he speaks anyway.

"Arafat is corrupt," he said. "Before we even talk to the Israelis we have to replace the Palestinian National Authority. It is a leadership imposed on us by the Israelis."

"The Israelis are armed with democracy, knowledge and order," he said. "We need these weapons. Blowing up 100 buses and restaurants will neither destroy Israel nor bring us victory."

And these are weapons the rest of the world will be happy to give you ... but first you have to stop taking orders from Arab puppetmasters with a stake in keeping you seething.
