Since the Israelis feel they are at war, having the IDF followed around and every action reported to the International Criminal Court in the Hague is a bad idea, especially when it is clear that the ICC itself is unlikely to be a balanced arbiter of justice.

Yet the Israelis do not want to become Egypt or Iran, imprisoning people because they say things the military or the government do not like.

A moderate solution is to deny the group access to military areas ... which is both legal and balanced.
