Pakistan Supports Kashmir

Pakistan President Gen. Pervez Musharraf said Friday his country will continue to support the right of the Kashmiri people to self-determination and will raise the issue internationally. "We have a principled stand on Kashmir and the moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people will continue regardless of any pressure," Musharraf said.

Referring to threats from neighboring India, Musharraf said Pakistan knows how to defend its frontiers and would respond to any aggression.
