Italians Don't Want Palestinian Militants

Is the EU cracking or was it only a few countries that insist Palestinian militants are okay, as long as it is at the expense of Israel? USA Today reports that a deal to end the Palestinian siege of the Bethlehem Church of the Nativity has fallen through because Italy has refused to take the Palestinians who would be exiled.
