Sauds Block 2000 Websites

Because "Rolling Stone" magazine corrupts. It's a crap magazine, to be sure ... I ban it from my house by simply not paying for it. The Saudis have gone a step further, blocking lots of porn sites ( such as companies selling bathing suits) and also sites about women, health, drugs and pop culture.

Okay, iVillage.com is on my list of personal sites banned also. I am not a fan of censorship but I appreciate their judgment.

To the Saud's credit, at least they tell their citizens a site is banned. China simply gives the users an error message for all of their banned sites.
